I know how frustrating it is to come to a new area and want to do some fishing.� I have been fishing the Steamboat Springs area since 1962 thanks to my father who took the time to drive (pre-tunnel days) from Denver and introduced me to the area I would eventually call home.� I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew-up, but I always knew where I wanted to live.�� One of the reasons I live in Steamboat Springs is because I love to fish.

The focus of the these pages is primarily on fly-fishing because that is what I do.�� I fly-fish simply because I catch more fish.� If you have never fly-fished before Steamboat is a great place to learn.
